Budgies are definitely not loud birds and you can easily have them in your apartment. When compared to other parrots, budgies are definitely not loud and noisy birds. Generally budgies are classified into quietest of bird in the parrot family. They reach 65-70 decibels at their loudest which is safe and bearable.

The major cause due to which budgies break their eggs is the lack of calcium, vitamins, or minerals. Some other common causes include diseased eggs, lack of enough space, starting of a new clutch, fear, infertility, inadequate food, inexperienced breeder, etc.

Cere color is different and gender-specific which helps us determine the sex of a budgie. Reproductive hormones are responsible for cere coloration. Mostly budgie’s cere is light pink when they are born. So it is hard to tell the gender of a baby budgie as both males and females have the same pink cere. But after a few months, they change their cere color specific to their gender

These little birds from the parrot family are very small in size, easy to care for and manage, talkative, less loud than other parrots, inexpensive, easy to tame, and prove good companions to the owner. These and some other characters (which I am going to discuss later in the article) that make budgies valuable pets will make it clear, “is budgie a good pet?”
